We became a 501(C)(3) rescue because we love Malamutes, and see a need to rescue & place into foster homes Malamute Dogs from Animal Control Facilities, local animal rescues, and people across Northern California. We see a need to rescue & protect from harm & neglect & to physically and behaviorally rehabilitate into an adoptable temperament, then place into a permanent and loving home.

Pack Leader Nick

Nick founded the Malamute Rescue and Rehabilitation of Northern Callifornia in 2016. His is passionate about rescuing Northern dog breeds. He understands their unique breed needs and educates the public on how to improve a dog's quality of life. He is an avid animal advocate and treats each rescue as his own.

Through his valiant efforts and help from the community, the rescue has helped over 70 dogs obtain their furr-ever homes.
